USA bodybuilder BOB BIRDSONG (1948) since 1971 until 1989 participated at the thirty seven A.A.U. and I.F.B.B. Amateur and Professional competitions. Best results of BOB BIRDSONG were the first places at the 1973 I.F.B.B. „Mr. America“ and at the „Mr. International“. In 1975 he again won the I.F.B.B. „Mr. America“ and in 1976 he became the I.F.B.B. Pro „Mr. Universe“ Champion.

Lithuania bodybuilder EUGENE GORELIK (Eugenijus Gorelikas, Евгений Горелик) since 1971 until 2000 participated at the variuos competitions. Best results of EUGENE GORELIK were the first place at the 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1990, 1991 „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз»). In 1982 EUGENE GORELIK won the Over All Champion“s title of the „Amber Prix International“ contest.

ABBYE STOCKTON

USA representative of professional power sport was ABBYE STOCKTON (Abbye "Pudgy" Stockton, 1917 – 2006) was an acrobat and gymnast. Sport specialists call her as one of the beginners of bodybuilding sport as well as BRONĖ DUBAR (Broné “Brownie” Dubar, Daubaraitė, 1906 – 1986). The greatest influence was of the “Father of USA weightlifting” BOB HOFFMAN. ABBYE STOCKTON was training together with JOHN GRIMEK and STEVE REEVES and used to appear in public at the California “Muscle Beach”.
