KATIE SANDWINA („The Lady Hercules“, Katharina Brumbach; 1884 – 1952) and her parents were circus artists. Often her father offered a 100 Marks to anybody who could win against KATIE in wrestling. Nobody won. The circus family travelled around the World. In America as well. Once KATIE SANDWINA in a contest in New York won against EUGENE SANDOW in weightlifting exercises.

Today the International Federation W.F.F.  – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) unites 138 Country-Members from all Continents. Every year W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. holds over 60 International Events in various Countries.

C.N.N. NEWS PRESENTED W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. TO A BILLION PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.

Some time ago the Global C.N.N. (Cable News Network) television made a special report on the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. events that were held in Klaipeda (E.U., Republic Lithuania) in May, 2017. That were the 50-th „Amber Prix International“ («Янтарный приз», «Gintarinis Prizas“, 1968-2020) and the 18-th „Universe“ contests. Due to this a billion (milliard) people World Wide had a possibility to see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International work.

C.N.N. is one of the World‘s most important International News Television Companies. We do not remember that C.N.N. ever reported about bodybuilding sport before. Positively reported... We are proud that the report was about the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Events, that had happened in Lithuania, European Union.

Before this the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International also had a number of  reports on other International Television Companies, such as  „Eurosport“, „Sky News“ and many national televisions of various countries through the World.

FOREIGN MINISTRY REPUBLIC LITHUANIA WORKS WITH W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..

Receiving the information about the C.N.N. preparations to make a report from the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International events in Lithuania, the Lithuania Republic Foreign Ministry officials addressed the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and assisted him in the common work with the C.N.N. television.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. ALWAYS WAS NON KOMMERCIAL SPORT ORGANIZATION.

During the fivety years of it‘s activities the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. always kept on the real sport side. Though there were various political and economical dificulties, the federation never stopped working on (read historical articles on the International Site www.wff.lt).

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. athletes always had possibilities to seek the highest titles at the International recognized official contests. Historic statistics prove the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. is a prestigeous International Federation among all federations. One can organize several successfull competitions, but it is not the same as the fivety years of serious stable work. The power of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. – fivety years of constant International Sport work.

Today the valuables of the mankind changed. For most people money means everything. No morality, only money and lies. The 3000 years lasting Bible Concept of Ruling Menkind is close to the end. Today most of International Sport Organizations are commercial. Even W.A.D.A. (World Anti Doping Agency) seeks profit and this is the reason that not every International Sport Organization can join W.A.D.A.. Such mentioned above organizations  proclame commerce, not sport. It is a theater of absurd now and we were writing about this many times before.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain conservative and it will not follow other commercial sport organizations.  W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain on the real sport side and this is our priority. 

In difference to other organizations W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. collaborates with the recognized International Sport Institutions, National Governmental Structures and representatives of all religions. All of them notice and valuate the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. activities. We see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. as a strong friendly unit and this is our power.

BERT GOODRICH IN BODYBUILDING HISTORY.

Contemporary bodybuilding started with the first A.A.U. „Mr. America“ contest. USA bodybuilder BERT GOODRICH (1907-1991) came into the World Bodybuilding History together with ROLAND ESSMAKER (1916-). In 1939 he became the Champion of the first A.A.U. „Mr. America“ competition. This was the first USA National Championship ever. Later BERT GOODRICH travelled around America with his shows, used to open gyms. In 1976 he participated at the I.F.B.B. senior „Mr. Olympia“.

SIGMUND KLEIN IN BODYBUILDING HISTORY.

International World society knew very well a famous Prussia athlete SIGMUND KLEIN (1902-1987 m.). in 1924 SIGMUND KLEIN came to America and became the owner of LOUIS ATTILA‘S (Louis Attila, real name Ludwig Durlacher, 1844-1924 m.) gym. At that gym were made lots of photos for the WEIDER brother‘s magazines as they had no gym of their own. In 1969 in New York was organized a great fiesta for SIGMUND KLEIN. Major of New York JOHN LYNCEY and the 41-st Vice President of the USA NELSON ALDRICH ROCKFELLER (1908-1979) took part at the event.

Ministers of Sport were sentenced to death and shooted: NIKOLAJ SEMASHKO (Николай Семашко, leading sport 1923-1926), VASILIJ MICHAILOV (Василий Михайлов, 1926-1930), NIKOLAJ ANTIPOV (Николай Антипов, 1930-1934), VASILIJ MANCEV (Василий Манцев, 1934-1936),  IVAN CHARČENKO (Иван Харченко, 1936-1937), ALEKSANDR ZELIKOV (Александр Зеликов, 1937-1938).

BERNARR MACFADDEN.

In the beginning of the last century American BERNARR MACFADDEN (Bernard Adolphus McFadden, 1868 – 1955 m.) created first Bodybuiling Empire in America. Specialists of sport call him  the „Father of Physical Culture“. BERNARR MACFADDEN used to say: „If You don‘t have Your health, You don‘s have anything“.

BERNARR MACFADDEN participated in various ellections including one of the President of the USA. Among his close friends were the USA President FRANKLIN D. ROOSVELT, GEORGE BERNARD SHAW, Italian dictator BENITO MUSSOLINI.

EUGENE SANDOW trained many World known persons. 1989. DOPING. FIRST OFFICIAL U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIP.

THE BEGINNING.

From 1973 bodybuilding sport was prohibited and prosecuted in the Socialist World. In 1987 the Official U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation was established. The federation was recognized by the U.S.S.R. Sport Ministry (Goskomsport; Госкомспорт С.С.С.Р.). In 1988 the first official recognized U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Cup was held in Leningrad City (today St. Peterburg). The Over All Champion was Lithuanian VIKTORAS JUCYS. All winners had to participate at the World Championship in Australia. Unfortunatelly due to the intrigues of the General Secretary of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS Lithuanian bodybuilders VIKTORAS JUCYS and SAULIUS MISEVICHUS (Saulius Misevicius) could not go and participate at the World Championship.

DOPING. 1989 U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIP. HOW TO BECOME A CHAMPION.

The 1989 U.S.S.R. bodybuilding championship in St. Peterburg was full of intrugues too. The winners had right to be included into the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding team to participate at the World Championship in Paris (France). Also they had to receive respectfull names of the „U.S.S.R. Sport Master“ („Мастер спорта С.С.С.Р“.). Suddenly a day before the contest bodybuilders received definite rumour information about the coming doping control. Most of the best bodybuilders decided not to participate at the event.

Today it is evident that this was organized by a number of organizers and trainers who spread the rumours about the doping. But why everybody believed them. Especially when the President of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding federation was VASILIJ CAIKOVSKIJ (Василий Чайковский) who was a high official at the U.S.S.R. Doping Control Institutions. When many best bodybuilders did not participated their athletes took high places and became the champions. Only after the competition everybody heard that there will be no doping control at all.

LEARN WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.

THE ONLY ONE CLASSIC BODYBUILDING SCHOOL IN ALL SOCIALIST COUNTRIES.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HEROES. CESLAV TAMULEVICH.

Today we can not speak about bodybuilding in the Socialist Countries not mentioning CESLAV TAMULEVICH. For twenty years his personal influence to bodybuilding was evident.

CESLAV TAMULEVICH was one of bodybuilding pioneers in the Socialist World. He was a talanted trainer who training other athletes before giving them suggestions  did many experiments on himself.  Also he participated himself at nearly all first U.S.S.R. bodybuilding competitions. CESLAV TAMULEVICH was the founder and the Chairman of the famous „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ (1965-1995) which was for many years the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding leader. The school gave direct and real way to develop bodybuilding in the U.S.S.R..

When we speak about any classic bodybuilding school in any of the Socialist Countries we mean that „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ was the only one of that kind. We may try to mention the „Sandow“ bodybuilding school in Chechoslovakian Marianske Lazne led by LUDEK NOSEK until now. But this shool had no great international level bodybuilders except ALOIS PEK.

In 1974 at the U.S.S.R. Contest „Georg Tenno Memorial“ („Georgo Tenno Memorialas“, «Мемориал Георга Тенно») representatives of the „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ took all first places. The contest was organized by the „Soul of Estonia Bodybuilding“ INNAR MARDO (Иннар Мардо). At that competition only Estonian OLEV ANNUS won this hight category against Russian monster VLADIMIR DUBININ (Владимир Дубинин). Then the Over All Champion became a student of CESLAV TAMULEVICH legendary PRANAS MURAUSKAS (Пранас Мураускас). World bodybuilding magazines wrote about this many times, including themagazines of the Weider brothers.

 CESLAV TAMULEVICH trained many famous U.S.S.R. bodybuilders and most of them participated at the historical „Amber Prix International“ (1968-2020) „Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз») bodybuilding contest.

INTERNATIONAL AWARD REACHED IT‘S HEROE.

On September 28, 2020 at the Headquarters of the Parliament Republic Lithuania for the social work done CESLAV TAMULEVICH was announced about the Great International Award. Right after it the delegates of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Federation (World Fitness federation, World Body Building Federation) left the Parliament to present CESLAV TAMULEVICH the International Honour Silver Medal. For many years on CESLAV TAMULEVICH  lives and is under the doctor‘s care in a small city hospital.
