2020. RESPECT. W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. DISABLED SPORTSMEN ARE A GOOD EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW FOR THE SANE PEOPLE.

20 YEARS OF W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. DISABLED SPORT DIVISION.

Since 1974 bodybuilding world is connected with disabled athletes on competitive level. After the 1998 International Congress in Palanga (Lithuania) the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  International started working on constant basis with the Disabled Sportsmen in 1999.

Then the first International Champions were  GARIB JOUNIS (Holland), TORSTEN PETERSEN (Denmark), ALEKSANDR KOROLIOV (Estonia) and SERGEJ BEGLIK (Lithuania). The Lithuanian SERGEJ BEGLIK  won all Official Competitions possible: World and Europe Championship and the “Mr. Universe”.

In 2018 Turkish TOLGA MURAT BALIKCI became the first in history World Professional Disabled Champion. Also in 2018 TOLGA MURAT BALIKCI became the World Amateur Champion among all participating athletes.

In 2020 great Latvian wheel – chair athlete ALEKSEJ PETKEVICH (Алексей Петкевич) was on the very top in the World.

Later the Great Respectful International World and Continent Champions were the following W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. Disabled Athletes: MICKAEL LOUVEL (France), PETER SMIT (R.S.A. ), TOLGA MURAT BALIKCI (Turkey), DIAN MICHAILOV (Bulgaria), ANASTASIA BELKOVSKAJA (Russia), GUSTAVO RODRIGUES (Brazil), KAROL MILEWSKI and MARIUSZ KRZYSTOF KUPCZAK (both Poland), ALEKSANDR GOLUB, NIAS IZMAILOV, OLEG ABORNEV, OLEG PILECKIJ, ALEKSANDR ROSSOMAKIN (all Ukraine), RAVINDER SINGH, ANAND ARNOLD (India), SYSOI YAUHEN (Belarus), VIKTOR TOPOL, NIKOLAJ MIRONOV, GENADIJ ZAMETASHKIN, KAROLIS STONCIUS (all Lithuania).

MORE ORDER WILL COME IN INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING CHAOS.

During the last decades the International W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) writes a lot about the so called “International federations” that are not legal and work unofficial way. Athletes use to participate at such federations as most of them do not know the juridical truth.

Some time ago the Chairman of the Arab Physical Culture Federation (A.P.C.F., based in Beirut, Lebanon) Professor Dr. FAWZI KHODARI addressed the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, asking to join the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. activities. Due to his efforts some years ago Lebanon joined the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International and now it is Kuwait.

My name is Edmundas Daubaras, Doctor Honoris Causa, Rector of the International Sport University (I.S.U.), President of the World Fitness Federation (W.F.F.), President of the World Body Building Federation (W.B.B.F.), President of the World Power Sports Federation (W.P.S.F.), Vice President “Regina Welfare Cancer Society”, and international journalist. After graduating from the Vilnius Vytautas the Great University in the specialties of philology and law, I was presented by the Lvov Stavropigeon University with the highest academic degree of the Doctor Honoris Causa in 2012. I received many awards during the decades of my work, some of which include:   the  „Order of St. Stanislaw“ (2018, Republic of Poland), the “Order of Ukraine Getman Ivan Sulima” (2018, Republic of Ukraine), the Order of Christ (2017, Lvov, Ukraine), the Honour Medal of the Parliament of the Slovak Republic (2013, Bratislava, Slovak Republic), the Honour Medal of the Lvov Stavropigeon University (2012, Republic Ukraine), the Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI (2011, Vatican), for confronting the communist regime, the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Silver-Gold Medal (2010, Coimbra, Portugal) for the ideas uniting World’s religions, and the Order of Auseklis (2009, Riga, Latvia) for international sport development. In 2008, together with the Governor of the State of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I was included to the Honour Book of the Kingdom of Denmark and also received the international John Grimek Premium (2005, Italy).

Free from politics and open to all religions, the World Fitness Federation and the World Body Building Federation run their history from 1968. During the last thirty years, the above mentioned federations were growing rapidly and today they unite 128 country members from all continents. The most active countries are Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Poland, Benelux and the Baltic States, India and Japan. Different from other private companies and organizations, our federations are social non-profit unions. The official W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. International page online, www.wff.lt, attracts lots of visitors every day as no other sport organization in the world seeks official sport development.

Since 1989, the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. has been issuing the Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding magazine in various languages and spreading them free of charge in the countries that are members of the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F.. Also the mentioned magazines are spread during the world’s most important international contests worldwide.

In order to continue developing the international sport and helping people and sportsmen gain wider knowledge, we opened and registered the International Sport University (I.S.U.) in the E.U. in 2016. In 2017 the I.S.U. professors will give teaching seminars and lectures in the Republic of South Africa, Russian Federation, Baltic States, India and Turkey.

Despite the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. being free of politics, politicians of many countries acknowledge our work and support our international activities. Among those who have supported us are: Professor Alfred Gerstl (President of the Parliament of the Republic of Austria), Robert Fico (Prime minister of the Slovak Republic), Gediminas Kirkilas (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2006-2008), and Algirdas Butkevicius (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2012-2016). Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania voted to finance one of the world‘s oldest traditional W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. contests, „Amber Prix International“, and organized a number of official meetings with the chairmen of the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. International.

Every year, the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. organize around sixty international events in various countries. The work of the W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. International involves various activities, such as disabled sport, the Fit-kid sport starting from 6 years of age, power fitness, model fitness, aerobic fitness, and traditional bodybuilding.  The W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. pays great attention to the division of working with disabled sportsmen.

2020. LITHUANIA PARLIAMENT HOSTS W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. LEADERS.

Today the International Federation W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) unites 135 Country-Members from all Continents. Every year W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. holds over 60 International Events in various Countries.

OFFICIAL MEETING OF THE HEADS W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. INTERNATIONAL.
W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International  informs, that right after the seria of  International Bodybuilding Mega Events (53-d „Amber Prix International“, 31-st World AM and Pro Championship and 25-th Europe AM and Pro Championship, September 26, 2020, Klaipeda) the Official Meeting of the Heads W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International  and a number of World Bodybuilding Legends was organized in the Palace of the Parliament Republic Lithuania on September 28, 2020.

HONOURED AND AWARDED WORLD BODYBUILDING LEGENDS.

During the Official Visit to the Parliament the Member of the Parliament Youth and Sport Commission GEDIMINAS VASILIAUSKAS was present at the event. Then a number of the World Bodybuilding Legends were honoured and awarded with the International Honour Silver Medal: VALERIJ KORESHKOV (Валерий Корешков), VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS, LEONAS PIVORIUNAS, VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ (Виталий Асовский) and CESLAV TAMULEVICH (Чеслав Тамулевич). A number of the Heads of the foreign delegations took part at the ceremony.

WE ARE PRESENTING A NUMBER OF V.I.P. HISTORIC WORLD BODYBUILDING PERSONS.

First of all we will present a Member of the Parliament Republic Lithuania GEDIMINAS VASILIAUSKAS who helped to organize the Honour Award Ceremony of the V.I.P. World Bodybuilding Persons at the Parliament. GEDIMINAS VASILIAUSKAS is the Chairman of the Parliament Commission of Disabled people, a Member of the National Committee for the Country Defence and a the Member of the Parliament Youth and Sport Commission.

VALERIJ KORESHKOV – a famous journalist and photographer, writer and publisher, four times Senior Olympic Games Medalist. VALERIJ KORESHKOV was one of the first to start bodybuilding in the Socialist Countries (1957) and he was one of the five ruling members of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Committee that was established in Lithuania in 1968. For the social work VALERIJ KORESHKOV in Italy was awarded with the International John Grimek Premium and in 2019 he was awarded with the International Silver Honour Medal of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International and with the Honour Diploma of the U.N.E.S.C.O..

VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS – a famous Lithuania basketball specialist, medical doctor, one of the pioneers of bodybuilding in the Socialist Countries and the first official President of Lithuania bodybuilding federation. VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS was one of the five ruling members of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Committee that was established in Lithuania in 1968. In 1970 when I.F.B.B. was created by JOE and BEN WEIDER brothers in Belgrade (Yugoslavia) VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS in the I.F.B.B. documents was marked as the sole official representative of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding. On September 28, 2020 at the Headquarters of the Parliament Republic Lithuania for social work done VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS was awarded with the International Honour Silver Medal.

LEONAS PIVORIUNAS is a famous Lithuania sculptor, one of the beginners of bodybuilding in the Socialist Countries. During the first period of the bodybuilding development (until 1973) together with Russian VLADIMIR DUBININ both were the sole Socialist World bodybuilders representing the highest International Sport Level. LEONAS PIVORIUNAS is the first Over All Champion of the historic „Amber Prix International“ (1968).

VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ -  a famous Lithuania poet and drama writer, theater producer. Representing the famous „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ (1965-1995) which was for many years the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding leader, VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ  was a talanted bodybuilding trainer. He trained many well known bodybuilders of various countries.  On September 28, 2020 at the Headquarters of the Parliament Republic Lithuania for social work done VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ was awarded with the International Honour Silver Medal.

CESLAV TAMULEVICH was one of bodybuilding pioneers in the Socialist World. He was a talanted trainer who before training other athletes did many experiments on himself.  Also he participated himself at nearly all firts U.S.S.R. bodybuilding competitions. CESLAV TAMULEVICH was the Chairman of the famous „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ (1965-1995) which was for many years the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding leader. The school gave the direct and real way to develop bodybuilding in the USSR. In 1974 at the U.S.S.R. Contest „Georg Tenno Memorial“ representatives of the „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ took all first places. Only Estonian OLEV ANNUS won this hight category against Russian VLADIMIR DUBININ. Then the Over All Champion became a student of CESLAV TAMULEVICH PRANAS MURAUSKAS. CESLAV TAMULEVICH trained many famous U.S.S.R. bodybuilders and most of them participated at the historical „Amber Prix International“ bodybuilding contest. On September 28, 2020 at the Headquarters of the Parliament Republic Lithuania for social work done CESLAV TAMULEVICH was announced about the Great International Award. Right after it the delegates of the International Federation left the Parliament to present him the International Honour Silver Medal. For many years on CESLAV TAMULEVICH  lives in a small city hospital.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. ALWAYS WAS NON COMMERCIAL SPORT ORGANIZATION.

During the fifty years of it‘s activities the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. always kept on the real sport side. Though there were various political and economical dificulties, the federation never stopped working on (read historical articles on the International Site www.wff.lt).

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. athletes always had possibilities to seek the highest titles at the International recognized official contests. Historic statistics prove the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. is a prestigeous International Federation among all federations. One can organize several successfull competitions, but it is not the same as the fifty years of serious stable work. The power of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. – fifty years of constant International Sport work.

Today the valuables of the mankind changed. For most people money means everything. No morality, only money and lies. The 3000 years lasting Bible Concept of Ruling Menkind is close to the end. Today most of International Sport Organizations are commercial. Even W.A.D.A. (World Anti Doping Agency) seeks profit and this is the reason that not every International Sport Organization can join W.A.D.A.. Such mentioned above organizations  proclame commerce, not sport. It is a theater of absurd now and we were writing about this many times before.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain conservative and it will not follow other commercial sport organizations.  W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain on the real sport side and this is our priority.  Yes, sometimes we are in a clumsy financial situation, but it happens sometimes, not always.

In difference to other organizations W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. collaborates with the recognized International Sport Institutions, National Governmental Structures and representatives of all religions. 2020. GLOBAL TELEVISION C.N.N. PRESENTED W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. TO A BILLION PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.

Today the International Federation W.F.F.  – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) unites 135 Country-Members from all Continents. Every year W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. holds over 60 International Events in various Countries.

C.N.N. NEWS PRESENTED W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. TO A BILLION PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.

Some time ago the Global C.N.N. (Cable News Network) television made a special report on the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. events that were held in Klaipeda (E.U., Republic Lithuania) in May, 2017. That were the 50-th „Amber Prix International“ («Янтарный приз», «Gintarinis Prizas“, 1968-2020) and the 18-th „Universe“ contests. Due to this a billion (milliard) people World Wide had a possibility to see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International work.

C.N.N. is one of the World‘s most important International News Television Companies. We do not remember that C.N.N. ever reported about bodybuilding sport before. Positively reported... We are proud that the report was about the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Events, that had happened in Lithuania, European Union.

Before this the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International also had a number of  reports on other International Television Companies, such as  „Eurosport“, „Sky News“ and many national televisions of various countries through the World.

FOREIGN MINISTRY REPUBLIC LITHUANIA WORKS WITH W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..

Receiving the information about the C.N.N. preparations to make a report from the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International events in Lithuania, the Lithuania Republic Foreign Ministry officials addressed the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and assisted him in the common work with the C.N.N. television.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. ALWAYS WAS NON KOMMERCIAL SPORT ORGANIZATION.

During the fivety years of it‘s activities the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. always kept on the real sport side. Though there were various political and economical dificulties, the federation never stopped working on (read historical articles on the International Site www.wff.lt).

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. athletes always had possibilities to seek the highest titles at the International recognized official contests. Historic statistics prove the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. is a prestigeous International Federation among all federations. One can organize several successfull competitions, but it is not the same as the fivety years of serious stable work. The power of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. – fivety years of constant International Sport work.

Today the valuables of the mankind changed. For most people money means everything. No morality, only money and lies. The 3000 years lasting Bible Concept of Ruling Menkind is close to the end. Today most of International Sport Organizations are commercial. Even W.A.D.A. (World Anti Doping Agency) seeks profit and this is the reason that not every International Sport Organization can join W.A.D.A.. Such mentioned above organizations  proclame commerce, not sport. It is a theater of absurd now and we were writing about this many times before.

W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain conservative and it will not follow other commercial sport organizations.  W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain on the real sport side and this is our priority. 

In difference to other organizations W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. collaborates with the recognized International Sport Institutions, National Governmental Structures and representatives of all religions. All of them notice and valuate the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. activities. We see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. as a strong friendly unit and this is our power.

HISTORY AFTER THIRTY YEARS.

1989 FIRST BODYBUILDING CONTEST „U.S.S.R. VERSUS U.S.A.“.

AMERICAN PIONEERS CAME TO U.S.S.R..

ON THE KNEES U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING FEDERATION GENERAL SECRETARY.

Ending the U.S.S.R. and breaking the „Iron Wall“ the socialist countries joined  the democratic World. In 1989 the first bodybuilding contest between U.S.S.R. and U.S.A. was organized in the U.S.S.R. city of Leningrad (Матчевая встреча «С.С.С.Р. – С.Ш.А.»). There were ten American athletes and twenty from the U.S.S.R. side. We will not speak about the competition itself as many participants of is did it many times. We will speak about the facts which remained unknown for thirty years.

That was the first time in the history when U.S.A. bodybuilders visited the U.S.S.R.. Both sides made great preparations for the event. Organizers, trainers, athletes worked a lot. Also worked and special secret services, like K.G.B.. Everybody expected that together with U.S.A. bodybuilders the owner and the President of the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) BEN WEIDER will visit the U.S.S.R. too.

LOUIS ZWICK.

In 2002 President W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS met his old friend American LOUIS ZWICK in German Stuttgart. At that time LOUIS ZWICK was a known organizer of International contests like “America Pageant”, “Fame”, “Hit the Rock” etc.. LOUIS ZWICK was not only organizer of these contests. He also was a producer of the television that was working at this event in Germany too. LOUIS ZWICK organized this competition as well as all other just to make a film of it and after to sell the reports to the American sport E.S.P.N. television.

INITIATOR OF THE 1989 BODYBUILDING CONTEST “U.S.S.R. VERSUS U.S.A.”.

In 2002 in Germany LOUIS ZWICK organized a very specific contest. He named it “European Championship”. He brought from America to Germany a number of athletes and all those athletes took first six places among top competitors. Participating German sportsmen were only like a decoration for Americans. Again the contest was filmed. The interviews of American athletes and some spectators were taken.

As DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS knew LOUIS ZWICK since 1989 first visit of the U.S.A. bodybuilders to the U.S.S.R. both have spoken on various topics. Among them was the historic 1989 contest “U.S.S.R. versus U.S.A.”. LOUIS ZWICK surprised saying he was the initiator from America side of this competition in1989. He was selecting every participant personally discussing the individual conditions of his participation in the U.S.S.R.. Finally he collected the necessary team of bodybuilders. LOUIS ZWICK was taking a big financial risk. Having no his personal money LOUIS ZWICK rented the necessary money from the bank to pay all costs of the event from the American athletes side. Nobody knew what will happen…

RUNAWAYS.

At that time for a number of years the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilder was VIKTORAS JUCYS from Klaipeda (Lithuania). It seemed he must participate against Americans in 1989 Leningrad competition.   But the plans of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who was the trainer and sponsor of VIKTORAS JUCYS  were different. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was thinking of his personal meeting with BEN WEIDER  and their discussion of the future plans of common work.  Both DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and BEN WEIDR  were in close correspondence for long years and both were waiting for the moment of meeting.

At the backstage of the “U.S.S.R. – U.S.A.” contest in Leningrad was a group of U.S.A. television men. They were filming the event. Speaking with one of them (later we learned that he was LOUIS ZWICK) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS told him  that the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilders ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS (Siauliai, Lithuania)  and VIKTORAS JUCYS are present at the event but they will not participate. LOUIS ZWICK was surprised about this and invited all three of us to shoot a film next day.

AMERICAN FILMS.

Next morning DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS down of the hotel to meet the LOUIS ZWICK  and his filming men. Americans explained that they are followed by people from secret services, like K.G.B. and they want all of us to run away from them. Only then the filming will be free of political pressure and represent reality. So we did. We jumped into a free minibus “Latvia” which was close to the hotel and left. We went to a primitive old bodybuilding gym in the suburbs of Leningrad City. Nobody was there but few local athletes. An interview of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was taken and training of VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS was filmed. LOUIS CWICK asked VIKTORAS JUCYS to end the filming with some words in English. Tought by DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS he said: “America – we will pump You up!”.

Later about the contest “U.S.S.R. versus U.S.A.”, about training of the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilders VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS, about the life in the USSR  LOUIS ZWICK made several films. Those films he successfully sold the  E.S.P.N. television in America and covered his expenses for the U.S.A. bodybuilding team. Later LOUIS ZWICK  sent those films to DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS (films are kept in the archives of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International).

TROJKA. INVITATION TO PARIS.

To meet BEN WEIDER DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS succeeded only after the contest “S.S.S.R. versus U.S.A.”. That was in restaurant “Trojka” where the organizers made a banquet for V.I.P. Persons. Both DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and BEN WEIDER  were sitting close together and had several hours to discuss the matters both of them planned to as both decided not to discuss this in their correspondence. Ending the discussion BEN WEIDER invited DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to be his personal guest at the coming World Championship in Paris (France). And this happened as decided.

ON THE KNEES U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING FEDERATION GENERAL SECRETARY.

Just before the meeting of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and BEN WEIDER a meeting of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding organizers had happened. It was in the hotel of Leningrad. At this meeting participated DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary, ALEKSANDRAS NOVIKOVAS, RAMUTIS KAIRAITIS (Both Officials of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation) and today‘s famous photo artist ALGIMANTAS ALEKSANDRAVICIUS and the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilder at that time VIKTORAS JUCYS. Learned about the coming meeting of the DSc. EDMUDAS DAUBARAS with BEN WEIDER, the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary insisted that he is intending to come with him too. Then DSc.EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS refused as he did not wanted to have any problems with the U.S.S.R. secret services. DSC. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS inumerated  „bad deals“ of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary that were done in previous years. That were through the U.S.S.R. secret services (K.G.B.) ruined in 1979 International contest the ”U.S.S.R. versus Czechoslovakia” (documents are in the archives of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International), in 1988 ruined participation of a number of the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilders at the World Championship in Australia. Also DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS reminded the prohibition of ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS to participate at the Georg Tenno Memorial in Estonia and other intrigues of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary. Then the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary started crying and knelt on the knees begging to forget those things.

2020. WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.

WHY SO MUCH LIES AROUND?

Since 2012 the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works on the „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“ which will cover the period of the last 130 years. Until now nobody even tried to do this. The Encyclopedia will be Published in four languages in the nearest future. In various languages we are studying historic materials. There we found unbelievable stories about the World‘s history of bodybuilding. Everywhere with some exceptions we found lies. It is possible to understand when new „leaders“ want to rise themselves by diminishing the previous ones. Often the new ones even do not mention the previous leaders at all.

America.

Today the history of bodybuilding presented in the USA and in the World at leats is not correct. This way in the USA are forgotten the real American historic heroes of our sport. But these forgotten heroes of the USA bodybuilding were accepted at the White House by three USA Presidents! Everybody reads only the unreal history of the commercial „WEIDER‘s Empire“. This is very bad... It is humoristic to see their materials when even the pictures of famous bodybuilders are developed so that anybody can not see the name and logo of other federation.

Europe.

Let us speak about the Europe.  Comparing with the N.A.B.B.A.  (National Amateur Body Building Association) nothing historically important happened in Europe. And again – N.A.B.B.A. after the death of their Leader OSCAR HEIDENSTAM last thirty years had no other real head of this level. It is the reason that today N.A.B.B.A. is not noticable and it is behind the other International organizations.

Another World.

This was a Picture of the „Western“ World. But there was another World, the „Socialist“ one. The Socialist World was nothing diferent of the „Western“ one. For seventy years both „Worlds“ were didvided by the „Iron Wall“ and lived separate life. Sport too. In the „Western“ World nobody could get the information about the Socialist bodybuilding. It was and it is of no interest for them. But if somebody did not hear about Australia – this does not mean that Australia is not egzisting. The situation in the history of bodybuilding of the Socialist World is the same. Today much false information is presented in public. We will not discuss here about the poor „poets“ who sing the unreal songs about the „WEIDER Empire“. Just to start – five members of the 1968 historic U.S.S.R. bodybuilding Council are forgotten. And it was the first International Bodybuilding Federation in the Socialis World. And it was even two years before the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) International Federation was officially created at the International Congress in Belgrade (Jugoslavia). At the same time new „leaders“ are telling lies about their participation in the historic events, such as one from Tiumen and another from Sankt Peterburg (both Russian). But on April 22, 1988 by the special order for „unfair financial behaviour“ the U.S.S.R. Sport Ministry (Goskomsport) kicked away this Tiumen „leader“ from the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding federation. Again articles are written, books issued about these false leaders and their false stories.

We will do our best to refresh the memories and to cover all important historic matters.

2020. INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING SPORT.

WHAT WE ARE FACING TODAY?

MORE AND MORE NEW FEDERATIONS APPEAR. NOTHING CHANGES.

Every year the International Sport Society meets a number of new National and International Federations of various names and various kinds. Being very little public information available people and sportsmen have difficulties to understand what is what. Every of these federations  use to declare they are better than the other ones. But that are only declarations. For example NABBA (National Amateur Body Building Association, juridically it is a UK Public Club) was split three times during the last twenty years and the new federations appeared then. After these organizations also fighted inside and again were split. The process never ends and it gives nothing positive especially on for the Official Sport, for the recognition of bodybuilding...

For decades due to the false ways of development by the former International Sport Leaders today nobody looks towards bodybuilding seriously. Former beautiful kind of sport is turned in to business only. Manipulating with sportsmen, doping affairs, health and even lives of bodybuilders is a „normal everyday‘s“ case. Nothing is official and it seems like never stopping children‘s game. Bodybuilding lives in a closed inner circle, closed narrow society, which most people do not like or even hate. This is the image of bodybuilding today. And this image is very negative. At the moment only WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International works on the official recognition of our sport and of the bettering the public opinion about the bodybuilding sport.

WHICH FEDERATION IS BETTER?

We mentioned above that today there are lots of “International Bodybuilding federations”. To get the truth about these “federations”  is not so difficult -  just ask then what are their strategic aims? What they seek? It is not so difficult to see that nearly all so called “federations” are only some ambitious plans of some definite individuals... nothing more!

No one of these “federations” ever influenced our sport on official level. No one of them ever tried to do this. They represent various unreal histories. The reason is clear – they have no history at all and this is the reason they create the false ones! Every day they are playing their games and fooling people around. People do not think that that these are not real sport federations in fact! Most “federations” are private companies. Among them many have no proper registration by law as International Organizations. No one of them is recognized officially by any serious organization. In 1998 the I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee) refused to recognize the IFBB and Weider brothers Joe and Ben sold the IFBB  (International Federation of Body Builders) federation, their sport magazines and the “Olympia” contest. After this the situation of bodybuilding is unstable in the World. Sport became extremely commercial and official sport competitions turned to various  “festivals”, “weekends”, “nights”  and “classics”.

It seems that the WFF-WBBF  International is the only one to go on working on the ideas of Weider brothers. At least we make efforts to do this. No one cares for official recognized sport, but WFF-WBBF.

We have spoken many times about such “federations” before, about the nonsense they are creating in our sport and we will leave them in peace now as there is nothing to say more. Sport specialists understand that those federations play no role in the official bodybuilding sport on International level (see the Global Bodybuilding Site www.wff.lt , read historical articles and see unique documents on the main page and in the forum).

When we seriously speak about the real official sport, today we can mention only two International Organizations and that are the IFBB and the WFF-WBBF.

IFBB.

Though today  there are many “hot” IFBB  questions, such as of law, of finance, of book-keeping, of false democracy and of doping.  The private IFBB of RAFAEL SANTONJA even after splitting remains one of the most serious International units of bodybuilding sport.

Note:

In 2009 – IFBB split for the parts of the Spanish RAFAEL SANTONJA and the Singapore  PAUL CHUA. IN 2017 – IFBB split again for the parts of RAFAEL SANTONJA  and the USA NPC (National Physique Committee) of JIM MANION. All mentioned parts are in confrontation one with another today. All parts want to be on top one over another. Seeing this the historic IFBB creators and our real respected friends BEN  and JOE WEIDER brothers could have a heart attack.

WFF-WBBF.

Created in 1968 and celebrating it’s 52-d year of activities the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works for the official sport of bodybuilding. Today the WFF-WBBF unites national organizations from 134 countries that represent all continents. Every year the WFF-WBBF organizes over 60 International events in various countries.

The WFF-WBBF received recognition by the Non Olympic Sports Committee, by a number of National Olympic Committees, by a number of Governments and Sport Ministries, by the ISU International Sports University (from 2017 ISU is  an Associated  Member of the UNESCO at the UN). Even the Vatican noticed WFF-WBBF International. During the official visit to the Headquarters of Vatican the  Roman Pope Benedictus XI-th award was presented to the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS with the Honorable Medal (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI)  and the Pope sent His blessing after the official meeting in Vatican (2011).

It seems today that only the WFF-WBBF International has aims and ideas how to develop bodybuilding on official level. Facing the new ambitious Global projects the WFF-WBBF takes real steps to guide our sport World Wide.
